I really wanted to make these stained glass cookies this year. I used the Kittencal’s cookie recipe and crushed jolly ranchers for the stained glass. The first time I tried making the Christmas light bulb shaped cookies. I call this a fail. They didn’t even taste good because the candy was too hard to eat. The next try I made the snowflakes. The cookie was thicker so it wouldn’t spill over. These were much prettier but still the stained glass is too hard to eat. The cookie part tasted good though. If I were to try again I would use either a gummy or lifesavers but not feeling like trying anytime soon. Too many other things to try.
